Hello:
I am building Lean-to shed and I have a couple of questions:
As you can see from the picture http://www.flickr.com/photos/48160720@N02/sets/72157624248562358/ the shed is build on a slope and I would like to know for the tube footing, should it be 24” , 36” or 48” deep
Home Depot and Lowes has different concrete mix which one I should use.
For install ledgers on the brick as in the picture what kind of screw I should use.
What is 16 on Center mean please?
Thank You
Meezo

The depth of the footing depends on your frost line. In Florida it is 12" but when you get up north it can be feet. You need the local answer.
As for the concrete mix, the cheapest one at a big box will be plenty. In spite of the rumor, they are usually at least 3000 PSI mixes and some are 3500 or greater. Just don't make it too wet when you mix it.
I would use piers at the wall side too only using the connection to the wall to prevent lateral movement but that may just be me. I would certainly not trust "joist hangers" outside in spite of the fact that a lot of people use them. If they get wet they will rust out eventually. Run beams on the top of the piers and put the floor joists on top of the beam so your load goes straight down..
"XX" O/C refers to the spacing between the studs, rafters or joists.
You are in over your head
Don't used tube footings for a brick structure.
A footing needs to be engineered to the soils it bears on and te load it carries, with depth determined by frost depth, needing to be below max anticcipated.
Framing 16" on center means just what it says
