How does anyone feel about the reinforcement of the high side wall of a shed roof home? Does that wall need more than a normal 2×4 construction?View Image

What you need most is lateral bracing somehow, to keep the whole thing from folding up.
The short wall will be under the most stress.
we have a similar layout, although the width is only about 16', and the architect specifed 2x6 construction. Plus, there's a whole series of rooms on the outside of the tall wall (providing the lateral bracing on that side) and, spec'd back in 76, they nailed the sheathing off for a hurricane force wind (we're outside DC, maybe the architect was overkilling, but I'm pretty happy he did it!) 2x4 for those heights and those roof spans seems really weak.
Yes. Furthermore, you will undoubtedly be having multiple large windows in that wall. This could easily necessitate a moment frame. You really need to consult an architect &/or engineer.
The wall should be 2x6 studs and balloon framed, i.e. full studs should be continous from bottom plate to top plate. The rake walls on the end should be framed the same. The 8' wall can be 2x4 studs.

I think you can sum it up in 4 words: You need an engineer.
location matters too
If I was doing it for myself I'd do like Mahan said. The front wall of my shop is built this way and looks a lot like the drawing.
If it was for someone else I'd prefer an engineers opinion.
