Any one tried/use Sherwin Williams brushes? How about the Contractor’s Grade?
It’s been mentioned here that Sherwin Williams brushes are made by Purdy. Is that just their better brushes?
Thanks.

Never tried S-W, so I can't speak about them. I've recently changed to Nour, which are unbelievably good. Soft, perfectly balanced, hold an incredible amount of product without dripping, and clean up like a charm. I can cut in window sashes with one of their 4" brushes without hardly slowing down, and not need a razor blade afterwards. Without a doubt the best brushes I've ever used in my life....
Don't know where you are so I don't know if Nour is available in your area. Check http://www.nour.com/ and click on their logo. They're in Waterloo, Ontario.

I like the S-W brushes better then purdy. Ive just noticed quality problems with purdy lately.
Sher-Tip brushes and Wooster brushes are my choice. They just perform better in my hands then a purdy does.
I have S/W brush in my painting tool kit that is about two years old. If you clean them right, they'll last.
