Few new houses to trim here (as elsewhere) these days, but I feel fortunate to have a fair backlog of shop work… custom cabinets for a retail shop, a mudroom bench, a towel tower for a master bath, a rustic fireplace mantel, a big fluted column project, and some assorted millwork.
Sure is nice to have work right next door and the shop is becoming an important part of my business. The panels being glued up and in the stickered stack are for 14×14 fluted columns for a commercial building entrance. I have 16 columns to flute (two and three sided “box columns).” About 45 column faces to flute in a variety of sizes (8″, 12″ and 14″).

Looks ike you'll be having fun this winter. I enjoy shop work even though we dont do a ton of it.

I built up a dozen screen porch frames last week in the shop with the Kreg pocket hole jig.I will be screening the frames this week. While I was at it I built a huge screen frame that fits in the single car garage door opening of the shop. That will be nice to use next summer.Cheers,Brian
I built a custom bathroom vanity this summer. I love the Kreg Jig. Makes face frames really easy and strong.
