We built this house for a home show. Allowed into George R. Brown Convention Center at 7:00 AM on Monday and had to be ready for the show at 9:00 AM on the next Friday. I had an 8 man crew of multi-talented guys.
At the time we were doing custom homes / landscaping / swimming pool / outdoor improvements…… display produce 15 new home leads / 60 pool leads / 125 landscaping and or outdoor improvement leads
House features:
2500 SF 50 x 50 / 18″ stem walls from the convention center floor / 2 x 10 joist system / t & G 2 x 6 pine floor / 9′ walls / Hardie Siding and Trim / truss roof / decked / metal roof – shingle look / drywall finished and textured / painted inside and out / interior trim / mahogany entry doors w leaded glass / 6 x 50 front porch / vinyl rail / 16 x 16 rear deck / should have had cabinets from reclaimed lumber but cabinet man made promises but did not show
Other features
50 x 130 booth space / same sod and sod company as Minute Maid Baseball Park in Houston / landscaping including plants and trees / synthetic putting green / paver front and rear walk / rock waterfall and flagstone patio / faux swimming pool (see details) / wheelchair ramp / Pavestone Windsor stone wall
POOL / cinder blocks in kidney pool shape / pond liner / tiel and coping / plaster over pond liner / frog fountian in the middle / filled wtih water / looked like a real pool-could not tell it was shallow depth

Sorry guys...the picture tells the real story...at least from the front of the home....no pic yet
Problem....maybe.....our high speed satillite internet (only thing I can get here in rural TX) is down and I am using dial up today...satillite company just emailed saying it may be mid December before it is up again...bummer...I am spoiled
TX, downsize the picture and use the dial up. You can get them down to 40k or so and it works fine.
I've very interested to see what you've done at that show.
