My son and I are redoing our second-floor bathroom in a 135-year-old home. Part of the construction is making a new shower with a half tile wall and the remainder being glass to the ceiling. We were going to use DuraRock for the tiled walls of the shower-this is what it appears most builders recommend. However, given the weight of the DuraRock, is there a lighter concrete-like alternative? A lighter fiberboard perhaps?
