We recently had a bathroom remodeled. A glass door was fitted to the shower stall; it is plate glass with a pair of hinges. Unfortunately, the bathroom floor is not level. When the door opens, it is not parallel to the floor. The top bar that holds the fixed glass in place fits over the fixed part but not over the door. See sketch below. This was an attempt to compensate for the slope in the floor. <!—-><!—-> <!—->

I had thought of removing the floor tile and leveling the floor. This is a lot of work. Do you have any tips for fixing?<!—-> <!—->

Look for some stainless steel or aluminum channel that will fit the (1/4" plate) door glass. Drill and thread for a couple of SS set screws through the back of the channel. Apply channel and adjust to fit your opening. You could do the fixed side too and it would match.
Otherwise, just go banannas, break the shower doors, and go with a shower curtain...
I can't for the life of me understand why your door is up against the bathroom floor and not the top of the shower CURB as it Should be.
Our fabricators measure from our finished surfaces all of which must be with in their tolerances.
If your tolerances were aout that much, they should have told you that there was a problem before the install.
Still trying to figure out the interface of your shower door to your floor. Your door should be a good 5-6" bove your bath floor.
