Once a shower is completed, is there any practical way to get to the weep holes so they can be un-plugged? The shower floor is a sheet of cultured marble, and I have reason to believe that the weeps were plugged during installation.

If it is plugged by tar, you can scratch it out with any metal point bent to reach it from inside the drain. If it is cement and it moist (lookin' from inside the drain) it doing its job. Normally cultured marble wont let moisture past itself, so its a matter of sealing the joints, hopefully there is no moisture trapped. Bleach is the solution to pans that have its weep holes blocked.
How does the bleach work?
And I started a thread about "how not to build a shower" ... go read that one.

Bleach will kill that mold and smell. It has to be applied periodically, but its not worth it if you get any on your clothes or carpet.
Yeah, bleach is wonderful for cleaning things, but how do I unplug the holes?
