Hi all
I have an odd question.
How does one handle the problem of a window in a large walk-in shower?
Is there some trick to this or a special window?
What keeps the window from getting soaked all the time.

Built from locally sawn hemlock, this functional outdoor feature uses structural screws and metal connectors for fast, sturdy construction.

Might try a search for shower window or some such, been discussed at length. I've done it with fixed glass, both vinyl frame and glass only. Don't think I'd want an opening window where it would see much splash.
Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.
You could use vinyl. I use fiberglass non venting for a low window or an awning window for 4.5 feet or higher. I use Marvin Infinity.

this poor dead horse was beat about a month or two ago so if you look thru the post you should find it. I have one in my rental place, glass block with an old aluminum window and no issues. When I re-did the bath I cut the surround for the window and trimmed it out with PVC mouldings. I used SS trim screws and loctite adhesive to put the trim up along with some serious calking. I check it a lot and ask the tenant to as well. If I was to do it again, I'd go with an all vinyl window, flash/rubber membrane it like it was on the outside and the same trim treatment. Just my 2 cents.

I did a search and came up with some of it, not the whole thread.
I'll look again.
Yeah, I remember, I'm not the OP, I just responded.

It should be tempered glass!
