Siding: Need Identification/Manufacturer

The siding in the attached picture was found on a house built in the 1990’s. While several of the old timers in my area had seen it before, nobody could remember who made it or if you could even get it anymore. Many thought it was masonite but they went out of the business in the 70’s and this place was built in the 90’s. It is a 2 drop 16″ engineered lap side. There is a quarter moon type groove. It’s not Truwood. Any help appreciated.

It might be Canexel. It is still manufactured in Canada and I think sold all over
