Hi im a electrician and we have one builder that has screw penitrating though The Osb by 2.5 inches and they have already screwed wires of ours before. Is there a building code for maximum penitration through the osb. I’m worried a sidder is going to hit our wires that are 50-200 amp and cause himself harm or also start a fire

Nail plates?
In case they fail to comply.
Certainly there is a NEC code point that wiring must be held back some distance (1.5 inches??) from the edge of any framing member, to protect it from screw/nail damage. One would think that building codes would somehow incorporate this.
DanH that is how I’m feeling also. I’m hoping I can find a building code that I can hold them to that I can get the local building inspector to hold them too. Just trying to get the building code needed to get these guys to correct the action if it is actually a building code
