Yeah, but it's all compressive load, no need to worry about shearing the screws.
Decking screws! What kind of hack do you think I am? :-)Charlie

You could have at least posted the one where I was almost to the top...Next time I will bring the camera! SYSOP[email protected]
so what grade is that climb then????
Well Charlie lead it, I just followed the grade I think was 5.14b or something like that... OK actually it was a 5.7? Charlie?SYSOP[email protected]
so does that mean it was hard????
For a guy that has not climbed in many years it was somewhat difficult, back when I climbed all the time it would have been much easier. Climbing grades go like this 5.0- 5.15 with 5.0 being easy and 5.15 being superhuman... So we where climbing somewhere in the middle. Anything above 5.10 is "hard" climbing as far as I am concerned... -MSYSOP[email protected]
Do you have a pool? Could be alot of fun launching into the deep end. When are you going to graduate to the half pipe?
My son would love that ramp. He's 3 yrs old. We just got him a "toddler-safe" razor scooter (if you could actually call any razor scooter safe).
He's been trying to imitate Tony Hawk doing all of his tricks...but since he didn't have a skateboard, he was using a Matchbox car and jumping off the furniture. Didn't work!
We got him the razor scooter and figured he would be safer outside standing on the ground vs jumping off of furniture. Let's see if that theory holds true. The saving grace is that since he's only 3, he doesn't have enough coordination or strength to really get up to any dangerous speed.
