Sketchup has stepped it up a notch. They added groups to their 3D library. Now you can look things up by type. There are some bogus sub-categories from non-essential vendors, but it still looks pretty cool.

Thought those were already available in the components from the Get More choice in the Component window, but dunno...
But no doubt they do seem to be stepping up a notch.
