I’m new to this, so be patient. We are building in ski country and I want to build into a closet a ski boot drier using PVC pipe mounted on a wall with an air space behind it. Any suggestions on a low heat, heater with a fan? We have in floor radient heat, if that’s any help. I figure that if the heat source is on the floor, it will rise and enter the tubes and the fan would help distribute the warm air, thus drying the boots.

There are numerous commercially available boot dryers at prices that look really reasonable to me. Both hot air and radiant models are available. A Google search for "boot dryer" returned 16,000 hits, and "boot drier" returned almost 500.
