10 years experience.
custom high end homes framing background. built own home from ground up. 2 years experince running crews with prior said framing job. experience in self designed projects ranging from decks to custom trim designs and built ins as well has small scale home renos. On own since last summer, has own tools and enough to supply crew of 5 - 6. running crew currently that consists of a partner, one full time carpenter, 2 part time helpers. Currenty doing custom decks and High end Concrete form and Reno job.
Can handle all aspects of framing, and formwork, including many complex designs. experienced with many aspects of trim and finish carpentry. has not built cabinets or complex stair finish railing work etc.
knows a lot, has a lot to learn.

a rate for that in t.o. is $35/h as an employee. In vancouver, maybe an o.z. per week!

The way it works is you are your own company, working for us. More of a sub-contractor. You supply your own tools and invoice us for your time.
What I was getting at are you remodeling contractor and if the fit is right this would be a long term relationships.Or are you a HO that is just looking for someone to for on their home..

So a guy works for you and invoices you every week, two weeks or once a month? He carries his own insurance, uses all his own tools and provides his own transportation job to job?
Expect invoices based on about $50/hr, maybe more. After all what you want is essentially a subcontractor at your beck and call.

I'm In peterborough, Licenced general carpenter, fully insured, and looking for work maybe October. I do it all. Fully set up and trained in high end reno's. Done attics, basements, kitchens, baths and treehouses. Currently do MCS work.(no room for error!) Rates to be discussed if you can wait that long,,Could come september, but would need free range in term of hours, since my days would be long being that far away from home.
