I was wondering if anyone had any ideas from experience….we have a closet in an attic space with a vaulted ceiling so that the back of the closet is a slanted wall. We’ve installed a closet rod into this closet, but the closet and so the rod are fairly long so we need a support in the middle of the rod to keep the rod from breaking. I’ve only been able to find closet rod supports intended for closets with straight walls…any ideas of what I could use as a support for my rod in my crazy slanted closet? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

If you can find a joist or stud near the top center, how about a scew eye into it and a hook on a chain going to the rod? Not elegent, but functional.
go to a steel supply place and get a rod of the same diameter but thicker wall. ypu can paint it, chrome it, or better yet, have it powder coated. probably cost about 20 bucks for the rod and 10 for the coating. i just finished a basement reno and put a steel rod in a closet thats 7 ft long. fully loaded it might sag 1/4 inch in the middle. eliminates puting in a center support that might get in the way.
