I have an elderly couple of customers who want me to replace their worn out and slippery wooden deck with a composite. Deck itself is simple design, three stairs leading to it, then into the house.
My question to you all: Is there a brand of deck or a particular line within a brand that is more slip resistant when wet? The guys at my pro builder were not the most knowledgable about this, seeing how we’re in the rainy NW corner of the country I was a bit surprised at this, but there it is.
Hopefully someone here has experience and can keep my customers from falling and breaking a hip! Thanks.

Most of the composites I have seen (e.g. Trex) have pretty good tooth. Just stay away from the PVC (e.g. Azek), and make sure they have a good, grippable handrail (not some stupid 2x6 laid flat).
I've always used Trex. It actually seems to be more grippy when wet. Of course anything will be slippery with ice on it." If I were a carpenter"
