NC homeowner here. My two-story house was built in 1996 and I think it has had two remodels.
The floors in my lower bedroom and bath have a noticeable slope. I don’t quite know where to start to address the problem.
There are no cracks in the walls or foundation, so I guess it’s a floor not a foundation issue.
My crawl space is a tight fit, about 2.5ft high. With an HVAC system.
I have discussed the situation with a few contractors, all have cautioned that correcting the sloop could result in cracked tile floors, cracked walls etc. Does that normally happen?
I’m not sure how to get my arms around the problem. Where do I start? What sort of contractor should I use? Is it worth the effort to fix this? How much of a slope should I live with?
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

A 27 year old house with a "noticeable" slope is cause for concern Plus you stated it was "remodeled" twice.
Add a HVAC system and a crawlspace. Is there a sag? or bounciness?. Have any of the contractors actually gone into the crawlspace to look? If not that is where you should start by hiring a carpenter experienced with structural repairs. Depending on what is going on a Structural Engineer might need to be involved especially is a permit is required.
