small estimating job today questions
Hey Guys,
Looking at a stud-um-up basement job today and possibly installing some ”DRI-CORE” floor, house is newer with the insulation blanket on the concrete wall half way down from top. Questions are; do I suggest to remove blanket and install ridgid insulation or install ridged and slide it underneath before studing. And can anyone tell me if that ”dri-core” floor is ”floating” why do they suggest to install floor and then anchor wall on top?and drywall ceilings [ map out plumbing etc]or drop ceiling?or other?
Thanks davey

Use the extruded polystyrene on the walls, tape the seams, then metal studs. Follow the dricore instructions. It is sometimes attached to the concrete.
