Am looking for a small round window to put in a side wall that over looks a front door – something like a porthole. Perhaps the glass is 8″-9″ or some thing like that. Suggestions on manufacturer or source?

Google "porthole window" on ebay. They have them for <$20.
Thanks. It is going into an exterior 2x6 wall. While it is of the scale of a porthole, I am thinking of something that is built to be installed in an exterior wall. By the way, it does not have to open.
I can't imagine you'll find such a window ready-made, but if you're handy, you can form the jamb out of a piece of sewer pipe and line it with wood veneer to look pretty. There's a peel-and-stick veneer used for re-facing cabinets or you can contact cement it in place. Or you could use a clay chimney liner cut to length for the Tuscany look. <G>It's not hard to turn a circular frame on a lathe for the interior and exterior trim. Cutting the hole in the wall's going to be the tedious part, if it's already built.
