The bidding went something like this: good start, nice middle, and the winner got a deal.
That quiet man of few words and killer copper took the package (if you pack the batts or stick a five in the box) for one hundred dollars.
It stalled there a bit at a hundred and since you two know each other-what the hay. Ended it yesterday.

Looked like an edison sub station while charging (leads me to believe either he uses the #### outta them when he's staging the chimney repair or they go through the juice). So they're used in the trades for sure.

Lefty, you know-thinking of those auctions since the beginning-they are a great thing! My mush mind cannot think of the visionary that suggested it....probably could find out pretty easily by going to the first thread on it......
Anyway. It's provided a source for funds beyond what I would have guessed. In turn, it's given out some pretty darn nice and useful things in return for a generous donation.
That we've had several "donate it back's" for auction again is huge. I'm impressed big time!
Since it's been so great for the site I got to thinking that instead of the re-auction why not we donate the goods to the give away tent out to the Blodgetts Crazy Legs Fest this summer.
Won't it be a hoot if with this economy the way it is, that slightly used webforum that takes the poor the sick and the hungry ends up responsible for much of the booty!
I'm already thinking that this years Taunton Closet of Great Prizes might be inexplicably found to be locked from the inside....
