Here is a pic of my 9 y/o daughter and the bench she made for the county fair. This is her first year in 4-H. Got Jr. grand champion on it, against some tough competition I might add.

You can lead a horse to water, but if you can get him to float on his back, you've got something.
I'm not sure who thinks the ribbon is cooler, me or her. The time I spent in the shop with her was the most fun I've ever had out there. She can't wait to start building something else.

Nice bench and pretty daughter. Bet you are proud. Ever notice how you are always far more pleased with something your kids accomplish than anything you have done? DanT
