I’d like to install a solar tube in my shower, but I’m wondering if steam will simply collect on the lens and diffuse the light. Anyone got experience with this?

Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
I nearly ALWAYS put a skylight above a master shower, a Velux FS series. Never heard of a problem or a leak. Haven't tried a solar tube, though. Might require some detailing to seal the tube from the moist shower air, and also a vent from the tube into the attic so any puddles condensing on top of the lens will have somewhere to dry to.
