Mitch,
Corian strictly limits the number of fabricators in any area. They also require that any fabricator be certified (ie you must pay a hefty fee and take a course on fabricating their product).
If you just happen to have some solid surface material laying around you can get the adhesives from just about any solid surface manufacturer. Though color match might be a problem. Other than that you would need a good router, table saw, jig saw, lots of clamps and lots of sanding supplies.
Good Luck
Mikey
Thanks Mikey,
I kinda figured by the lack of info available, that dupont didn't want just anybody
installing their product.....gotta keep that price up you know............. Mitch
Mitch - Dupont started certifying installers because so many people were doing bad installations that corian was getting a bad reputation. If you call dupont, they have a booklet they'll send you that has all the info you need. Doing it is straightforward enough, you just have to pay attention to some important details. Good luck
Hey BUIC, Thanks for the info, Mitch
