Anyone using solid surface for walls and floor of large custom shower ? Tile guys around this depressed area only know tile, lady doesn’t want grout lines. I’m just the cabinet guy, what do I know ? olegrouch

Granite and quartz both work great. If you have a direct link to the fabricator they will come in price wise, very close to a good tile job. I'm sure the other solid surface materials work just as well but I've only used grantie.
I've used Swanstone. It is sold material about 1/4 thick. They also make a shower pan too. Nice to work with, a little on the expensive side. Do a google for there website. One of the companies I sub out to is a distributor, so I get it from them.
I used to do 1/4" Corian shower and tub walls; we'd do a couple a month for a kitchen and bath place.
Guys just installed a Swanstone tub surround on the job I'm trimming. It looks pretty nice. They weren't working too fast, but were still done in about 6 hours.
