The correct answer is D... hire a qualified roofer and drink the Bud while he's up on the roof.
This was a drive by roof we looked at and got in the discussion.
I was hoping for the qualified roofers opinions so I could drink my beer-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, I've only ever used double v-drip for porch roofs, but the answer would be, laid left to right, "B"; laid right to lelt, "A" (furthest edge of the overlap).

I've done maybe 10 of 'em - putting the screws at 'C', as per the instructions of 'Nifftone', the metal roofing supplier -
I just knew this would end up 50/50
FYI, I used the Piffin screws recently on a interior wall I moved.
I've always enjoyed a heady debate with him,

What was the question again?
Oh yeah...
I guess "D".
Er.. ahh...
Beer!
I gotta go.
C. with neoprene washers on the screws.
C
c but moved closer to b
3 c's will keep the snow from avelanching, avelaunching....
...from dropping on your head when you slam the door!
If top lap is @ A/B point, then C is just to right (in left edge of trough), similarly C will be @ LH side of all troughs, w/ception of first sheet down where there is one more @ RH side.
Neoprene washers to screws do not have enough, what... flexibility, thickness, resilience, ??...to sit across the top and still remain watertight.
cheers
