A 6″ wall between one bath and the adjoining bedroom was not constructed to reduce sound transfer through the wall. Would making a hole between each stud in the bedroom wall and filling the void with a “pourable” insulation reduce the sound transfer? If so, what would be the best insulation to use? Might there be a better solution short of rebuilding the wall?

3. Leave existing wall, build new thinner wall with 1" space on either side. Now insulation helps, FG or rockwool (or better yet, use leaded surplus aircraft sidewall insulation) in between walls.
There's a few things that you can do to reduce sound transfer.
Simply adding a layer of drywall would do more than filling the cavities with insulation. Adding a layer of cement board will do more than drywall. Adding a layer of cement board and covering with a layer of drywall will do more than any one layer.
A layer of cork between the layers will improve the results as well.

It might help but not noticeably. I would add a layer of Homasote over existing sheet rock and then apply another layer of SR over that. Do it on whichever side you have more room around the detailing.
