A project for a gothic arch barn roof is in my near future. (Richmond, VA) Does anyone know of a US or Noth American source for curved gluelams made to a custom size? (I found one in Australia….) This project calls for rafters of small cross-section (2-1/2″ x 6″) with a 27′ radius and overall length of 28′.
An old text on farm buildings details how the farmer can make his own, but I’m not even going there…..
Thanks for your suggestions,
JLK

I know you said you didnt want to do the farmer method, but seriously, it would be a fun project. I have always kind of wanted to build an arced barn roof.
*Here's two, both in the west. A phone call to them may be able to help you find an east coast supplier, or maybe they want to quote the job.http://www.calvertglulam.com/index.htmlhttp://www.glulams.com/
