In order to speed up a re-model, I need a pre-fabricated redwood or cedar gable vent to trim out a 24″ on-a-side gable opening. I figure that including trim the gable vent ought to be 26″ on-a-side. Thanks for the help.

Adolfo, I see that no one has been of any help to you. I quess that is because we don't know where to order a "special order ( species )" gable vent. The lumber yard that I deal with here in Dallas can get me any size or pitch that I want as long as it is galvanized metal. If you want something special, you may have to order it from a mill near you or make it yourself. Sorry bud.....Good luck.
