sources for Split Face CMU? (aka Rock Face)
The daylight foundation walls of our 1920s house use 10” deep x 8” x 16” split-face CMU above grade. We’re looking to replace a few and the sources seem limited. Anyone had any luck finding replacements for their homes?

Well, where is your home?
These were available here in NW Ohio a while back.
There should be a list of people that still have the molds and might ship.
Have you sourced regional block companies around you?
we’re in Westchester County, NY. i’ve been poking around and a more modern one (institutional; think city park lavatories). but haven’t found what looks to be a reasonable replica of the turn of the century block yet. was thinking about making a mold of what we have and casting a facade onto regular block. i’ll keep looking.
Auburn, Indiana maybe. Might be able to refer you closer.

Try using google picture search on your phone, It seems to find and name spiders, trees by bark and a whole lotta ……stuff.
And search maybe north of the city up by Albany, Saratoga, Utica. We’ve walked the streets and I believe I’ve seen a few variations.
thanks Calvin- outstanding!! rather than Split Face - searching on Rock Face turned up some great leads (I updated the title to help other searching for similar). These guys are only 2.5 hours away: http://dinovomasonry.com/about/
