speaking of doors … “sound-proof” ….
Another thread talked about JenWeld exterior doors falling apart ……I’m about a week away from odering some interior doors …. was planning on the Jen Weld “pro core” I think …. the one’s that are advertised as sorta sound proof ….
I know there’s another brand out there that says they’re quiet too … or sound proof … how ever ya wanna say it ….
Anyone have a recommendation?
I’ll dig up the other name …..
Doors to be used at a utility room, bathroom and workout room ….
looking for the fake 4 panel look to match the rest of the house …. looks to me the existing are Masonite.

Masonite or Premdor, I forget which, but the product name is Safe-N-Sound.
The door shop guys call all these products "solid core." I just bought a house full of 'em in the 4-panel style. Average price, prehung, $89. Damn heavy. Be careful with them and don't scar the face. It's just hardboard, and a finish repair is tricky.
Give them a spray finish in a smooth satin, dress them up with higher-end hardware, and your customers will think they are almost in a Ritz Carlton. That heavy swing and solid close feels like quality.
safe and sound ...
that's the other one.
Thanks for that vote of confidence.
