a business partner and i would like to build a spec home in a new development going in soon outside of town. right now we are talking through the idea, but having never done this it would help to here from someone who has. thanks jsr

you cannot make money on a single spec home, profit margin is so low. More than one needs to be build so labor and material will overlap. For profit on single home, custom be a better choice.
