Ive started looking into maybe getting into the sprayfoam insulation business.Theres noone anywhere around doing it and I know theres a niche there, particulairly with alot of the trophy homes being done around here. And thres got to be alot better way than nasty fiberglass and half-adzed installation.
Wondered if anybody had any expierence with dealing with spray foam co. or startups or types.Im leaning toward the “natural base” foams .Any ones insights or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

As part of your background, here's an article on Agricultural-Based Spray Foams: http://www.ncfi.com/Insulation/insulation.htm . It's halfway down the page.
Probably not a lot of info here, but a contractor buddy of mine just had his home, which I framed, done with icynene foam. He used 2x6 walls and figures he can heat approximately 2300 sq.ft. for 40 bucks a month, using propane. Sounds like the way to go to me. It won't take too long for the low heat bills to offset the larger cost of 2x6 vs. 2x4. He figured it cost him around a grand more than blow in batt insulation. I'm looking at building my home shortly and am considering it myself, but I was less than impressed with the insulation company he used. Seems like they are the only ones in the valley, though.
