Spray foam insulation and wiring…

Their are limits on the number of conductors that can go in a given size of conduit, and it’s my understanding that these limits are imposed due to heat concerns.
So I’ve been wondering: How can you spray foam in wall cavities (and other places) where it will completely encapsulate long stretches of romex-style wire?
I mean, shouldn’t that create more of an overheating concern than putting too many wires in a given size of conduit?

No more of a problem than another other type of insulation.
The insulation is not a source of heat. But bundled wires each wire does generate heat. So if you have too many is a tight area you need to reduce the maximum amount of current the wires can carry.

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
