In process of developing plan to renovate kitchen at family beach home on Cape Cod. Plans are pretty much done, but struggling with how to choose appliances. Was thinking all white appliances figuring that the appearance would hold up better – and, frankly, concerned about stainless steel rusting as so close to the beach. But, very very hard to find white appliances. Am I making a mistake if I decide to go with stainless?

That is a question I have no answer for. I would guess that since there’s a bunch of coastline in the US that some coastal resident will have a quick answer for you. People had complained about fingerprints on stainless so they fixed that.
So, is Chatham as quaint as it was in the summer of ‘69 when I chased a girl there and worked in Bearse’s store?
Lemme know.
ok
White appliances are hard to find but stainless steel can have rust inhibitors to protect from beach environment. Researching these options may be helpful.
