I’m in the process of building my own house (again)and I’m trying to find a source for non run-of-the-mill stair parts, specifically balusters.
I’ve been online and found many places with the standard 1 1/4″ square stuff. I found one source http://www.stairpart.com/architecture/info_biltmore.php#photo
which goes in the direction I want to go and wondered if there where any others like this or had a 1″ square product. I know I can have this stuff made locally (I’m doing that with the bottom newell post) but wanted to see if there was any more sources for non standard stuff. The last two houses I built for myself had the standard components you see everywhere and I was looking to do comething a little different this time around.
Thanks!!!

I "think" Adams Woodproducts is one place that has a varitey of turnings.
edit: yeah google showed them in Tenn. and Iowa, I think the Tenn is furniture and Iowa is the pilasters and Newels.
