Hi, the previous owner of our house used 3/4 x 2 3/4 oak flooring as a façade for the stair case riser. Is there a good material to lay over the existing risers? We want to go with painted white risers. Retro Riser seems too thick at about 3/8, I was thinking of using Masonite.
