Guys/gals….I have a confession to make. I am an airoholic. I need to get up. My stairbuilding can only get me so high…like maybe 12 feet. But…..the gyrocopter….wow….what a freakin rush.
Anyway…its so nice of the local farmers getting out there and clearing my playground so I can really get down and rustle the leaves.

I'm jealous, I love being up high. All that open space around you, what's better is all that flat land.
Great pics.

Stan, is the picture taken with the combines from 500 feet? I often wonder about altitudes with your pictures. If I might have some frame of ref it would help. thanks dan
Drapson: I maintain 500 ft. from,..but not above. I can fly one inch off the ground if I want to..but I should maintain 500 feet from any person..vessel or structure. That close up of the combine was zoomed in.
That is the rule for fixed wing that I adhere to. But actually rotorcraft can operate within 200 feet.
But then there is always the noise etc.
I have to be careful because there are many people down there that just cant stand to see someone having fun and they think thats their "airspace above them. It all of our airspace....you just need a pilots license to have the privilege of using it.

Stan, if you know who was driving those combines, they might like a copy of that pic. I know a lot of folks (esp farmers) like aerial shots of their farms, etc.
