Wrapping up my first major project in metal. I’ve been working on this for quite a while. I have no idea how much time I’ve put into it; I stopped keeping track a long time ago. Nor do I care. I haven’t had so much fun building stuff in a long time, it kept me busy and sane through the pandemic and a lot of personal stuff. I did all the welding, etching of the glass and finishing in my shop. It was then assembled on the site. The finish is iron coating with a chemical patina. The frame is all metal. The treads are concrete. It was designed for zero maintainance.

Glad you had fun! Now that you’re an iron worker do you walk around with the large belt and those big as’d wrench clanging around?
If you cut a piece of metal too short, you can fix it. Doesn't work that way with wood.
