I am operating in my new wing as the tornado damaged section is not being restored. I had to have a place to keep building as down time would be very expensive.
We tore off…replaced the trusses…sheated …stick framed two valleys…sheated it…and tarpapered my shop today.
Natural light, taller ceilings, and more functional spaces transform this midcentuary-modern home.

Love that thick insulation, makes a miser like me proud of board contributors.
SIL had 12 homes destroyed within 2 blocks of theirs (lost siding is all) in Decatur a few years ago, so know the fright and recovery needed from midwest weather.
