I’m considering steam bent railings on an exterior cedar deck I’m building in cottage country in Ontario Canada. Anybody have any advice on building a steam box? I’ve bent wood on a small scale (using a kettle and card tubing quite succesfully), but what I’m considering is 2x6x 8 ft cedar bent railings… the main consideration that I keep coming up blank, is the steam source. what’s out there for rent or purchase (cheap) as a high volume source of steam???>
