I want to put together a steel or aluminum handrail on my parents concrete stairs to their porch. I would like the tubing to be 1″ – 1 1/2″ in diameter. Does anyone know a supplier of this type of hardware in the Los Angeles area? The local hardware stores just carry wood or wrought iron stuff. I want something that will be solid and hold up outdoors, the kind of railing you would find at public places. I do not want to contract the job out.
