Hi All,
I have a Sterling Garden tub that creaks when you step in it. The builder attempted to repair it by cutting an access panel in the sheet rock and wedging some boards between the tub and the floor and squirting some expanding foam in the voids. This did not solve the problem and the builder is not willing to make another attempt stating that the tub is installed per manufactures directions. The tub is not set in a bed of mortar. The builder is JDR/Vestcor.
The home is at it’s one year warranty. Year built is 2006,
Would greatly appreciate a fix for this problem.
Regards,
John

One way may be to squirt in a couple of cans of GreatStuff expanding foam - it might lock it up a little better - I'd pull his boards out first - you want "even" support.
I've done it, and it's worked. the red can - medium
