We have a post and beam house that is wrapped in stress skin panels. The north side is built into the hillside coming down to about a foot from the ground. There is no attic, just a cathedral ceiling. We have had a lot of problems with moisture – windows at the peaks rotting, north side roof had to be replaced. Before we make any other changes, who can we contact about these problems?

Jean,
I'm responding mainly to kick your question back up to the top of the board. I had figured that you would have been asked about a million questions about your house by now. Perhaps you can tell us where this house is located and what kind of foundation you have. Slab? Crawlspace? Basement?
If you're willing to answer enough questions, I'm sure some solutions will begin to surface.

*It sounds like you have a moisture source problem. Was poly installed under the slab if you have one?

Is your house equiped with some sort of fresh air exchange unit? Stress panel homes are very tight and need to breathe. All panel and icf homes should some sort of air exchanger.
