I am looking for information on proper installation of weep casings on wood frame portions of a house. I am a home inspector and often see stucco that has no visible weep openings but builders keep telling me the weeps are installed. Am I missing something or is there an invisible opening for water to drain out. I call it out on my reports as not having a means to drain water but want to know if I am wrong and don’t know as much as I thought I did. I want to give my clients the proper information. Thanks for any helpful info

I live in the land of stucco houses but have never seen one with weep holes.
you can't see the holes when the stucco is finished.
