We’re trying to ensure our stucco has proper drainage, and they are finishing the final color coat. We noticed them starting to apply stucco to the bottom of the weep screed, which is blocking the holes. Is this acceptable? The photos show before (when weep screed holes are visible) and after (now that holes are blocked).

It's important for stucco to have proper drainage to prevent water damage and ensure the longevity of your home's exterior. Blocking the weep screed holes can hinder drainage and potentially lead to moisture-related issues.
You should address this concern with your contractor or builder immediately. The weep screed is designed to allow water to exit the wall system, and blocking these holes may compromise the drainage system. Your contractor should rectify this by ensuring that the weep screed remains unobstructed to facilitate proper drainage. It's crucial to maintain the integrity of the drainage system for the stucco to perform effectively and prevent water-related problems in the future. https://proinstaapks.com
