i am installing double vanities in a new master suite. there will be no vent stack. Do both vanities need Studor vents or only the one furthest from the drain line? thanks

Install it in the top of a double fixture fitting (DFF is like a sanitary cross, except the branches have more of a radiused turn). Each branch will be the trap arm for a sink.
Since the Studor must be always accessible, you'll probably want to install it under one of the sinks so that you end up with one short trap arm and one long (but not over 42").

Like the other post sand, if you are using a double fixture fitting you only need one, but if you are running two separate arms you need two, they need to attach near the trap, most packages have a little drawing how they want them installed
thanks for the comment - i wasnt very clear in the description of my project. The two sinks are "back to back" - that is, not in the same vanity cabinet. so if i read your reply correctly, i need a vent in both vanity cabinets.
