I have just recently relocated to Linwood, New Jersey- Atlantic County (3/2004).  I am a self employed carpenter / handyman.  Skills- frame to finish work, some fine furniture/custom doors…., restoration & repair work,  fully insured, work van. 10yrs-residential remodel & new home constr.    Any general contractors in the Atlantic County area that can enlighten me on:  

-is it beneficial to try 2 tap the handyman services market at the shore,  with higher level craftsman skills, or stick with remodeling?

– what services are in high demand?

– Do you feel that $75.00 per hour labor rate for handyman services is a competitive rate in Atlantic County, NJ?

– Is networking common amongst the Local contractors, or is it- everybody lookout for themselves?
