I love to watch those guys demonstrating their product at the trade shows. Everyone was cringing at the JLC show when the Bad Dog Tool guy was drilling thru tile, concrete, files, a brake rotor, and wood. But I bit (no pun intended) and put down my credit card.
I would have done the same thing with the guy putting the Little Giant ladder thru its paces if I didn’t already own so many ladders.
Ditto on the Kreg jig and the Collins coping foot, but I already own them.
Does anyone else have the same urge to reach for their wallet when they see a really good demo? I admit it. I have a problem. Where’s that 12 step probram.

If the guy turns it into too big of a show, I tune out and walk away. I can't stand people that oversell. I don't care how good the product is.
Yeah.
And when the lady from the Hanson booth shows her wares, you of course just walk on by.....?
Sure thing, and the earth is flat!

Ohh that's a totaly different topic. Have you seen my collection of Drywall knives etc???? And then there's the zip wall stuff taking up one side of the garage.
Just between you me and the wall. The drywall knife bites.
She on the otherhand could have sold an icebox to an eskimo.
