Sunset in Virginia. Taken from the southern tip of the eastern shore peninsula, the north end of the Chesapeake bay bridge Tunnel, looking toward Hampton Roads.

I don't see any monster Rockfish. The season is here IIRC. Man I gotta get out there.
We LOVE the BBT. Go through it every time we go to NC from MD. Out of the way- but it's a fun way to cross the bay.
Old friend of mine lives in Machipongo, man I gotta get over there and bum out for a spell.

Very nice photo, thanks. Reminds me of flying into Tangier Island and staying overnight at Mrs. Crockett's guest house. Dinner and breakfast included. Crab cakes and clam chowder, mashed potatoes and homemade bread. Apple Brown Betty or something like that for desert. Very interesting little town. The hundred year old houses are about 3/4 scale, most of them. Graves are in the front yards, raised above the water table.

That's beautiful.

Nice.Sunrises are great, too. Like a promise, or something.
Ok, the title of your picture needs some explanation. Was that taken with a pinhole camera you made? And was the film rippled on purpose?"Put your creed in your deed." Emerson

Yeah. A few years ago I got interested in pinhole photography and made a few different cameras. That particular camera was built to accept a 4x5 negative holder. At some point I started altering film planes, so the light gets stretched as it lands on the film. Did all sorts of stuff. Started with a curved film plane, like 4" ABS and kind of went from there. It's been a while but I think that film holder sandwiched a sheet of 4x5 film between matching frames with the squiggle board sold to go under that corrugated plastic roofing material. Something like that.
